Our architecture ethos is decentralized-first; That being said, the reality is that full decentralization today, isn't the best option for game developers, who need to rely on quick and reliable technology. That is why our architecture of today still does rely on a number of centralized services such as blockchain indexers. Our current architecture, as defined in "Emergence of today" below isn't Emergence's final form, and as we grow and future technologies mature, we aim to replace our more centralized services with systems build on decentralized protocols. The "Emergence of tomorrow" shown below it is how it may be laid out as we progress into the future in the shorter term, but in the longer term we seek to ideally be as decentralized as possible without loosing significant practicality.
The Emergence SDK supports concurrent EVM network instances, this allows game developers to read from one network and write to another.
